Michael Carroll, Ph.D. is a Counselling Psychologist.  He is also an Accredited Executive Coach and Accredited Executive Coach Supervisor.

Michael is Visiting Industrial Professor in the Graduate School of Education, University of Bristol and the winner of the British Psychological Society Award for Distinguished Contributions to Professional Psychology.

Michael works with individuals, teams and organisations specializing in the theme of learning.  He supervises, coaches and trains nationally and internationally and works within the private and public spheres.

He has written a number of books of which the latest are:   Effective Supervision for the Helping Professions, (2014, Sage) and Ethical Maturity in the Helping Professions, (with Elisabeth Shaw, published by PsychOz, Australia, 2012 and Jessica Kingsley, UK, 2013).  

Michael was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and lives near Bristol, England with this wife and foster daughter.
